Chrissie Blaze is an international lecturer, author, astrologer and ordained
minister, and a well-known figure in the New Age movement. She has been
interviewed on hundreds of radio and television shows around the world,
and conducted lectures and workshops on subjects from astrology and psychic
development to spiritual healing and U.F.Os in the U.S. and U.K. She is
also a regular speaker at the UK-based Mind-Body-Spirit Festivals. She
helped launch several nationwide campaigns to raise public awareness,
including the successful Natural Healing on the National Health campaign
in the U.K. and the One-Minute Peace Prayer Initiative in the U.S.
In 2003,
she and her husband, Gary, were keynote speakers at The Field Conferences,
London, England, organized by best selling author, Lynne McTaggart. They
taught prayer to over 2,000 people, alongside leading frontier scientists
such as Larry Dossey, M.D. and others.
Blaze is a qualified teacher with credentials from the University of London,
England and certified with the State Board of California. She has lectured
on subjects ranging from business studies to yoga. She worked for eight
years as a lecturer at inner-London colleges, was the public relations
director of a London investment company and is now the publicity officer
in the U.S. for the international metaphysical organization, The Aetherius
Society. She is also a professional astrologer and qualified at the Faculty
of Astrological Studies, London in 1983.
She regards
her main career as her lifelong study and practice of the spiritual sciences.
Her lifelong quest for truth led her to The Aetherius Society in her teens,
and she was a close student of the English yoga master and Founder/President
of the Society, Dr. George King, for twenty-five years. In 1985, Chrissie
wasordained in London by The Aetherius Church as one of the first female
ministers

Do you have an exceptional gift or ability, and if so, what do you call it?
Intuition, clairvoyance, clairaudience.
At what age were you aware of your own gift?
About 3 years old.
What happened to make you aware of it?
I saw fairies in the garden.
What did the fairies look like? Did they communicate with you?
They looked
just exactly like the fairies one would see on greeting cards and in books.
They are bigger though; about 12 inches in height. I loved them, as I
think all children do. I don’t remember communicating with them though
I am sure I did speak to them. I have since seen fairies (or devas) from
time to time, but mostly now see them as a brilliant light, like a will
o’ the wisp, often accompanied by a strong smell of
flowers.
What do you do to further enhance or develop your psychic and intuitive abilities?
I do a lot of spiritual practices, prayers, mantra, meditation, psychic and spiritual development service to others.
What kind of exercises do you do to protect yourself? Can you share one
with us?
One simple but excellent practice is the Practice of the Violet Flame. One visualizes it coming up from Mother Earth through your body and aura; a beautiful, cool, cleansing flame. See it going right through and around you and take it, with your mind’s eye, as high as you can see it go. Hold the visualization for about 20 seconds if you can. This is a wonderful ancient practice which was first taught to me by Dr. George King, and published in my book Workout for the Soul. It not only protects and strengthens your body and aura, but has the effect of cleansing.
It is a great exercise to do prior to spiritual practices, or after one has been in acrowd of people. It is rather like taking a spiritual shower. It should be treated with great reverence as the violet flame is given to us freely by the Logos of this Earth and can be utilized by anyone.
How much time do you spend with a client? What kinds of specific or generalinformation do they receive?
I do all my readings by cassette tape. The preparation (drawing up of the astrology chart, analyzing transits, etc.) takes several hours. The tape itself is about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Do you ever use your abilities for predicting the stock market? Investments?Why do you think the majority of psychics rarely use their gifts for the lottery?
I think it’s a bad idea. I think psychic ability should be used to help, heal and serve our spiritual growth. It’s not a party trick.
Do you think it’s possible for a psychic to predict the winning lottery numbers?
Yes, it is possible, if they want to put all their God-given energy in this direction. It is possible to walk on water, fire and even disappear. All these things take an enormous amount of energy and can be done, but I believe the important thing in life is to lead people towards their deeper natures.
When consulting with your clients, would you prefer to offer philosophical messages or do you simply impart what you are seeing more logically?
I try and give factual, helpful information, but also philosophical information, if it helps.
